Finland's leading refrigeration company, MV-Jäähdytys Oy (MV), a subsidiary of Nordic Climate Group, is acquiring HC-Systems Oy (HC-Systems). This acquisition further strengthens the group's position in refrigeration, heating, and energy-efficient installations in Finland. MV, which joined Nordic Climate Group in 2022, has enhanced its position as the industry leader in Finland through several acquisitions in 2023. The acquisition of HC-Systems is signed and will be completed as HC-Systems joins MV on December 31, 2023. HC-Systems has 16 employees and generates a turnover of 2.6 million euros.

“HC-Systems is known for its professional and high-quality work in the region. Since we share the vision for the industry's development, it is natural to work together fully," says Ilpo Mäkelä, CEO of MV.

Through the acquisition, HC-Systems' CEO and co-founder Henri Rämänen, along with the company's employees, will join MV's team. All employees will continue in their current positions, except for the company's founder Harri Rämänen, who is retiring.

HC-Systems' focus on heat pumps for both consumers and commercial customers complements MV's offerings to the market.

“Especially in terms of development and expansion within heat pumps, we gain a valuable addition in terms of resources and expertise. We will also be able to expand installation and service offerings for large kitchens," says Sami Pahla, Regional Manager at MV

Nordic Climate Group's focus is to help its customers minimize their climate footprint and maximize energy efficiency. The plan is to continue building a leading company in Northern Europe with strong growth both organically and through additional acquisitions.
