Kølegruppen augments Nordic Climate Group in Denmark
Kølegruppen’s focus on industry, bakeries, server and data centres, hotels, and
public facilities enables Nordic Climate Group to broaden its offering in Denmark. In
addition, the move brings three additional companies to Nordic Climate Group. The
transition from synthetic to natural cooling media and increasing efforts to improve
energy efficiency form the primary direction for the work.
“With Kølegruppen on board, Nordic Climate Group isn’t just gaining more
locations in Denmark. We’ll also be able to give customers a clearer offering, and
the addition of 54 employees is a significant boost for our operations. We’re thrilled
to have Kent Hannibal and Kølegruppen as members of our team. With Kent’s
leadership, this fast-growing company has delivered high-quality service and
customer focus,” says Tue Sjøntoft, Country Manager Denmark, Nordic Climate
Group.
Kølegruppen was founded in 2008, with roots in Jysk Køleteknik (established in
1998) and Baks Køleservice (founded in 1973). Bundgaard Køleteknik, which joined
Kølegruppen in 2015, is an independent company and brand with a strong position in
industrial applications and which specializes in environmentally friendly propane
installations and water cooling. Kent Hannibal, CEO for Kølegruppen, is the primary
owner, and Henrik Olsen, CEO for Bundgaard Køleteknik, is a partner.
“We think in terms of the future. We’re driven and have built a capacity for
development that we hope to share with others in Nordic Climate Group. We’re also
close to our customers, thanks to our service model and three locations. Both Henrik
Olsen and I look forward to being part of Nordic Climate Group – an impressive group
that’s quickly risen to become a leader. That’s something we also strive for. It’s going
to being exciting to be part of Nordic Climate Group´s growth journey,” says Kent
Hannibal, CEO for Kølegruppen.
Both Kent Hannibal and Henrik Olsen will continue in their present roles, maintaining
customer focus and leading their respective companies in accordance with earlier
plans.
Nordic Climate Group focuses on helping its customers minimize their climate
footprint and maximize energy efficiency. The plan is to continue building a leading
company in Northern Europe, with strong organic growth as well as expansion
through acquisitions. The model is founded on entrepreneurial spirit, decentralized
operations with cooperation in business, negotiations, and procurement, effective
training, and sharing of technological know-how.
